i think people frequently use "getting some nookie" to mean "getting laid", but people also refer to "the nookie nook" or "what's going on in there?" "nookie." to mean just general sexualized activity.

and i assume by this point you realized just how WEIRD that word sounds/looks once you've repeated it enough times.

I put "sex" because even though I would probably use it to mean anything from cuddling onwards, the BTM would probably say it means sex, and it's best to be careful. :)

It's hard to say where I heard it. Hollywood would have to be my answer. I've only heard it in songs/movies, etc really.
