Arcadia

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] gilana for the tip about Arcadia. Went to see it Friday night with [livejournal.com profile] rmd and enjoyed it immensely. It's just finishing its run at the Publick Theatre, an open-air theater off Storrow Drive. If Bostonish folks want to see it, it's closing tonight, sorry! but I do recommend it if you read this in time (it's a 7:30 show).
And similar open-air theater goodness with Comedy of Errors continues next week.

But I thought Arcadia was a particularly perfect play to see in such a setting, what with the geeking about the natural world and all. I love that play.

Arcadia is one of my favorite plays of all time. Sorry I missed this production.

Sounds like it was totally sweet.

Aaargh!! I missed this! I *love* that play, and would welcome a chance to geek about it sometime. But speaking of geeking...

I am interested in locating some Dr. Who? episodes with the Master in them. I can't remember which episodes I saw back in the mid-eighties which I am thinking of, but the actor wore these black gloves, had a receding hairline, and evil smile *happy sigh*. I know it is very wrong of me, but I am not sure which Doctor was in the episodes, though, considering the time, I thought it was Tom Baker. Can you suggest any episodes which I might investigate?

Thanks, and thannks for the suggestion that some people who produce awful web pages should be slapped around, it made me lol.
