Brokeback to the Future

Everyone should watch this mashup movie trailer. Made by the crazy kids at Chocolate Cake City, it's Brokeback to the Future (a 7 MB download that might be a bit slashdotted at the moment) Brokeback to the Future streamed, and at a server that can handle the load better.

It makes me very happy.

"Who the hell is Clara?!?"

Edit: This video pointed out to me by Jonathan Coulton's podcast. As some of you know, Coulton's site is the home to many delightful songs, but my favorite, by far, is that sweet romantic ditty Skullcrusher Mountain. Go, listen now. I'll wait.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] drbitch for the reminder on Coulton.

Maybe I used too many monkeys

You can right click and save-as off the video section of http://chocolatecakecity.com/. Hopefully.

Now someone's done the same thing with clips from "Top Gun".

Thanks! I got it downloaded but my stupid quicktime player won't show the video, just the audio (and whines about the compression).

sigh

Aw, I'm sorry. You might need a codec, then; and if you can't find it, like I did, the iTunes/quicktime combo should take care of you.

The player also whined that it can't find the correct files on the Quicktime site... maybe I'll try playing it on the iBook and see if it works.
