You never were able to explain the scooter to my satisfaction, but then again, I'm almost positive it was stolen, and I was more concerned with the ultimate fate of Steve's goldfish.
That, at least, you were able to explain fully. The issue of the plunger came up later, of course, but at least I could understand where that came from.
