Aw, you can often get away scanning something with an i-glide like that as having one less syllable. I mean, if idiot can be scanned as two syllables ("told by an idiot, full of sound and fury"), then Viridian can be three.

I mean, you don't have to pronounce it that way. Just scan it that way for the purpose of the meter.
